It was back to Kalalarga for lunch after our panels and portfolio reviews on day two of MaFest. What bounty did the sea provide for the chef to cook for us that day?
We started with the house anchovies and sardines again…
A few octopus (octopi?) were in the day’s catch, so the chef simply…

[original post on TdotComics.ca] Since the season finale of Quinntessential Comix I have been receiving a lot of requests for more interviews, (currently I’ve recorded about 10 for the new season,) so while you wait for season two (premiering after Fan Expo in September) I have an interview to share with you from TCAF 2012 that happened just a couple weeks ago.
I met Jeff Ellis at Fan Expo Vancouver & when he told me he would be visiting for TCAF I set up an interview on the spot. Not the best interview I’ve ever conducted, but definitely interesting subject matter. I have always been a fan of collaborative work & the Cloudscape anthologies are a really good example of awesome creators coming together to create great books. Enjoy!
Over at qwantzfeed.tumblr.com I post the comics every day, manually now that Tumblr turned off their RSS importing (this was not the future I ordered). ANYWAY right now I do it as a single image, but that is a little hard to read. So I thought, hey, I’ll do each panel as its own image! But Tumblr only allows certain layouts and none of them are set up properly for my comic.
Is there some way or image layout that would work better here? These images look great if you click on them in Tumblr’s lightbox view, but they’re still janky - and they’re weird sizes because otherwise Tumblr chooses only part of the image to focus on and it looks EVEN WORSE. Ideally I’d like one picture per row but this seems impossible?
thank you for posting on tumblr the Chester Brown interview.
